Home Energy Assessment
$50.00 for a Home Energy Assessment up to 3,000 square feet and .05/sq. ft. above for all conditioned areas. This may vary depending on number of heating systems and availability of area and volume documentation. The program also includes the free installation of numerous energy conservation measures such as programmable thermostats (max 2), compact fluorescent light bulbs, low flow faucet and shower heads, electrical outlet and switch gaskets, hot water heater blanket and pipe insulation. These "Quick Fix" measures can be installed up to a $250 value for no additional cost.

Low-cost Energy Conservation Measures The following measures are free in the SourceGas Excess is Out Program with the exception of programable thermostats at a $25.00 co-pay:

Weatherization
Weatherization work is itemized on an a la carte basis. The scope of work is derived from the Recomended Improvements within the Energy Audit Rrport of the home or business. Labor rates vary from $50-$65/hour depending on scope of work, travel distance and complexity. Materials are to be reimbursed at their retail value with a 15% administrative fee.
Projected HERS Rating (Home Energy Rating System) for new homes
A HERS rating for new construction and/or for EnergyStar is a 2-3 phase process:
• Plan review, take-off, and projected rating
• Pre drywall and thermal bypass inspection (EnergyStar only)
• Post completion inspection, diagnostic testing, and confirmed rating certification
Base Fees:
Phase 1 - $650 up to 3,000 s.f., plus .10/sq. ft. above 3000 including unconditioned space, i.e., garage, crawlspace or attic
Phase 2 - $250 up to 3,000 s.f., plus .10/sq. ft. above 3000 including unconditioned space, i.e., garage, crawlspace or attic
Phase 3 - $450 up to 3,000 s.f., plus .10/sq. ft. above 3000 including unconditioned space, i.e., garage, crawlspace or attic
If there is a forced air heating/cooling system Duct Blasting pricing is added
