Infrared Camera Analysis

Are your energy bills starting to look more like mortgage payments? If they are, you're not alone. Recent studies have found that over 65% of American homes are under-insulated, and that as much as 50% of the energy they consume for heating and cooling is wasted due to heat loss, excessive air-leakage, and poor construction practices. The good news is that coupled with a blower door and with today's advanced infrared camera technology we're able to see exactly where your energy dollars are being lost, and which improvements will yield the greatest savings. Infrared thermography cameras produce images of invisible infrared or "heat" radiation and provide precise non-contact temperature measurements. Their use ranges from providing information on insulation integrity to finding areas where air is leaking from outside. When combined with a Blower Door, an infrared camera can quickly expose air leakage sites that are buried deep inside ceiling, wall and floor assemblies.
