SourceGas Excess is Out Energy Audit
For SourceGas customers the Excess is Out Energy Audit includes an on-site visual inspection of the energy features of your home or business and documentation of its general condition, including envelope features, equipment types, appliance and lighting characteristics and a comprehensive list of recommended improvements. It includes an interview with the owner(s) to discuss comfort problems, general functionality of the building and potential efficiency improvements. Although a walk through inspection is available it is highly recommended that the home or business owner requests the use of a blower door and infrared camera. Aspen Thermo highly recommends these tools to find the hidden culprits that often plague a building's efficiency. The EIO program also offers a number of free energy conservation measures that can be installed during the site inspection. These measures include a hot water heater blanket, 6 feet of pipe insulation, low-flow bath, kitchen and shower heads and programmable thermostats (up to 2 for $25.00 each).
